I had my wisdom teeth pulled Friday morning, and today I realized I had dry socket on my bottom right hand side...throbbing and terrible pain shooting into my my jawbone and ear! ahhh

I am sure everyone has seen this photograph of the Eagle Nebula giving birth to stars...but if you look at the left column where the star is shining brightly (you can enlarge this photo by clicking on it) you will see a cat sitting down just to the left. I was told that out whole galaxy could fit inside that cat's one ear!!!

my visit to Texas was a strange one indeed! I played lots of Pool in the barn at Fort Dust, got to kick it with Kevin Stanford (duuuude), saw some family, played my dad's new Electric 12 String Rickenbacker through his newly rebuilt Vox Beatle Amplifier, sat down with an attorney alongside my grandparents and dad and had about 600 acres of west Texas land put into my name, went on a scenic road trip through: Del Rio, Langtry (home of Judge Roy Bean & an amazing cactus garden), Sanderson, Alpine, & Ft. Davis, and also got to spend a day at McDonald Observatory before making it back to El Paso. I will post photographs of these times in the future.

I just talked with Adam down at Rainy Day and he said they finally got my copy of Fort Worth Teen Scene Volume 3! I will finally have them all and will able to finish the story that runs throughout the liner notes. Maybe I should rent the Monte Hellman film "2 Lane Blacktop" too!

I am currently enjoying the new book "THE SOURCE" about Father Yod/YaHoWha. The CD that comes with it is also really good.

I was finally able to get my hands on (thank you Adam!) the new Mississippi Records LP Gospel comp. that includes a 7" of George "Bongo Joe" Coleman and some nice liner notes! Let me tell you that this is the best gospel music I have ever heard! some of the most electrifying and freak out guitar riffs ever with some excellent singing and an anti-rock song that is more rock n' roll that most rock n' roll!

I finally got some Polaroid film today, there will be 17 more of these to come!
