yesterday Max Roach passed away. I feel like all my favorite artists have passed away recently. M. Roach was without a doubt one of the best drummers ever.

do yourself a favor and see the "Ring of Fire" documentary series by Lawrence and Lorne Blair! It's amazing! The episode I watched last night had footage of a man who had harnessed his inner energy and was literally electric! He actually set newspaper on fire with his energy!

Also highly recommended is "HOW TASTY WAS MY LITTLE FRENCHMAN". what a beautiful movie with an excellent soundtrack.

















I had a very nice 4th of July at Burfoot Park with nice people and delicious food! Setting off Fireworks at the Watertower was very dangerous but very exciting!
