Thanks to a tip from my good old buddy Benny P. I was able to get a copy of this new V.U. bootleg! Today I was slightly worried that it might have those Bob Dylan-esque versions of all the early songs that were in that box set... but I have reason to believe they might be different. Not that there's anything wrong w/ Dylan... I love that guy.

... & then there's this bootleg MORE BERMUDA THAN PIZZA which also features some of Angus MacLise jams aka The Joyous Lake... which I am also a huge fan of! What a great title too.

hey Devon

yea my Dad told me you invited him out for a beer... he thought that was awesome. Maybe you can come shoot guns with us and start bonfires 30 ft. high on the ranch w/ us sometime. You would also get to try some of the most delicious steak in the worlddd yo.

After you mentioned it, I checked out some youtube videos... and the shows look really bizarre! All the comments were hating on Calvin... sometimes I forget that there really isn't a huge audience for this stuff. Everyone just wants to see the new Coldplay or some shit.

I will def. come kick it in Austin w/ you... I miss that city. Do you got a couch I get acquainted with? I am actually coming to Texas in about 4 days!

Joel (or Ben), please give an update on your VU boot purchases.

You two should put together a buyer's guide for these. I know that ideally one should buy it all, but which should one buy first?

what's up A.P.! I don't really have a lot of bootlegs... but the ones I like a lot are the "Quine Tapes" which I am sure you have heard, HEAD HELD HIGH, SYMPHONY OF SOUND, & AND SO ON.

here's great page w/ all the info! http://olivier.landemaine.free.fr/vu/bootlegs/lps/blps.html

apparently the new VU bootleg has Batman & Robin labels!
